Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
BCLS certification.
Previous Emergency Department Technician or Medical Assistant experience preferred.
Certifications / Licenses Required
One of the following certifications/programs required: B-EMT, Graduate from a formal Medical Assistant program, Completion of a formal nursing education program, Completion of a formal medical doctor education program.
Or one year of applicable Emergency Room Technical experience in lieu of the above; must complete the applicable certification/program within 12 months of hire.
Successful completion of a 180-day orientation period required. EMT license preferred.
