Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily production activities to meet output targets and schedules.
Manage, train, and evaluate production staff, including scheduling and performance.
Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and manufacturing specifications.
Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies on the shop floor.
Monitor and optimize production processes for efficiency and waste reduction.
Troubleshoot production issues, equipment malfunctions, and personnel conflicts.
Maintain accurate production records and generate performance reports.
Recommended Qualifications
3-5 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a production team
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production challenges
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team and cross-functional interaction
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
OSHA 30-hour certification or advanced safety leadership training.
Prior experience supervising in a unionized manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in a second language relevant to the workforce.
