Automotive Technology Instructor (full-time, tenure-track faculty) – 2 positions

Duties Support the goals and mission of the college; provide quality instruction to students; communicate with department chair or administrator. Duties include various faculty responsibilities; preferred to serve as program coordinator.
Education / Experience Minimum:
AAS degree in automotive technology. ASE certifications (A1, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, G1) or ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician required with 2000 hours of relevant work experience (1–2 years).
Preferred:
BS degree in Automotive Technology or five years of teaching experience at secondary or post‑secondary level; ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician (A1‑A8) and ASE Certified Advanced Engine Performance Specialist (L1). Prior teaching experience.
Qualifications Excellent communication skills; experience performing drivability diagnostics on automobiles; previous teaching experience with focus on automotive performance and drivability. Ability to apply innovative teaching methods and work with students at all skill levels.

Salary / Wage $58,623–$71,670 (Base Load 15 ECH)
