This is a full-time, on-site role for a skilled Diesel Mechanic based out of our Sacramento, CA location. The position involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of Freightliner Cascadia's, Thermoking reefers, and utility dry vans.
Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair diesel engines, ensure safety protocols are followed, maintain accurate repair records, and support fleet operations to maximize vehicle performance and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
3+ years of expertise in diesel mechanics and heavy equipment repair
Proficiency in vehicle and equipment maintenance practices
Experience conducting preventive maintenance on heavy‑duty vehicles and machinery
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently
Proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment relevant to diesel and heavy equipment repair
Previous experience in the trucking or logistics industry is highly valued
Location: Sacramento, CA. Salary: $6,874.00 – $8,137.00.
