We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 10-15+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the Mechanical Engineering Design Process for Building Systems, spanning from Concept and Schematic Design through to complete Construction Document Design, and will also provide Construction Administration Support. A significant portion of the work will focus on healthcare projects, so prior experience in this sector is essential.

Responsibilities

Participate in the Mechanical Engineering Design Process for Building Systems.

Provide Construction Administration Support.

Work extensively on healthcare projects, including Hospital Patient Floors, Procedure Suites, and Equipment Suites.

Adhere to ASHRAE Standards and Mechanical Codes and Certifications.

Identify and resolve issues within the Mechanical Engineering Team.

Mentor Junior Engineers throughout the design process.

Leverage infrastructure and healthcare experience to contribute to project success.

Essential Skills

10-15+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Professional Engineer (PE) certification.

Proficiency in ASHRAE and Mechanical Codes and Standards.

Extensive experience and knowledge of HVAC systems.

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with mechanical design and drafting.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to manage schedules and budgets.

Work Environment We offer a hybrid work schedule with a base 36-hour work week. Workdays include Monday and Wednesday as remote workdays, with the possibility of site visits as needed. Tuesdays and Thursdays are in-office days at our Jenkintown Office for team coordination and potential site visits. Fridays are half-day remote workdays from home.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jenkintown, PA.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $67.31/hr.
