Machine Shop Supervisor

Overview SkillSetGroup is looking for an experienced Shop Floor Supervisor to work in the Los Angeles, CA area. This position will oversee a small team of machinists in a high-volume aerospace manufacturing environment. The chosen candidate must have hands-on supervisor experience in a machine shop, with knowledge of troubleshooting and programming CNC machinery (Mills, Lathes, multi-axis). Knowledge of continuous improvement and optimization is a plus. This will be a DIRECT HIRE position on first shift.

Duration : Direct Hire

Pay range : $100,000/yr - $125,000/yr

Hours

6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday, OT, Saturday hours

Requirements / Responsibilities

5-7 years' supervisor experience supporting setup operators, hands-on setting up and troubleshooting multi-axis CNCs

3 years' previous CNC Machine Shop supervisory/lead role

Previous metal component manufacturing for military/defense experience is a must

Must be bilingual Spanish/English
