Industrial Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift
Apply to become an Industrial Maintenance Technician at Altium Packaging. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery, blow‑mold equipment, and plant facility systems. The position operates 8‑hour 2nd shift in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with corporate safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Install, adjust, and repair blow‑mold, trimmer, palletizer, and related equipment.
Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin changes, and other equipment changes.
Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
Inspect, rebuild, and replace valves and pumps.
Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
Troubleshoot, locate root problems, and repair blow‑mold, bagger, and support equipment.
Operate blow‑mold or injection machines as required.
Communicate with cross‑functional departments regularly.
Receive instructions from the Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Assist in troubleshooting unusual problems with professional judgment.
Work may require reasonable mandatory overtime due to business needs.
Qualifications
Basic mathematical skills.
Basic computer skills.
Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Excellent attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
OSHA forklift certification.
Physical Demands The employee regularly stands, walks, uses hands to handle items, and reaches with hands and arms. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling is required. Frequent lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds is expected.
Work Environment The employee regularly encounters moving mechanical parts in a production environment. Noise levels are usually loud. Temperatures fluctuate between hot and cold. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
