Your Job
Our Lincoln site is looking for a part time Stamping Tool and Die Maker. This person will maximize utilization of Stamping Department by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the stamping dies.
What You Will Do
Maintain and troubleshoot dies with minimal supervision or direction needed
Troubleshoot die problems with minimal amount of production down time
Prioritize work load to meet the needs of production
Perform die changeovers as required
Support and implement continuous tooling improvements on all dies for increased utilization and efficiency
Support and implement continuous process improvements throughout the Stamping Department
Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions
Build/Modify spare parts as needed
Participate in recommendations for die design improvements
Participate in problem solving teams
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
High school diploma or GED
5 years experience with high speed tooling
Proficient at all aspects of precision machining and form grinding
Proficiency in reading a strip and die as well as troubleshooting skills
Ability to work on any of the stamping dies
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with employees throughout the organization
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
