Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

About the Role We’re working with a global provider of electrical and power solutions that’s expanding its field services team. This role is ideal for a hands‑on Field Service Engineer who enjoys working directly with customers, supporting complex electrical systems, and leading site activities from startup through commissioning and maintenance.

You’ll play a key role in supporting power delivery equipment in the field, combining technical expertise with leadership, documentation, and customer‑facing responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

Execute field projects involving startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of power delivery equipment.

Work hands‑on with systems such as transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, protection relays, power management controls, UPS, ATS, PLCs, and related electrical infrastructure.

Lead and support outage activities alongside other field engineers, technicians, and contractors, acting as site lead when required.

Plan and coordinate job activities, materials, and resources to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.

Prepare clear technical documentation including service reports, job updates, customer communications, and internal records.

Support customer and internal training activities by sharing technical knowledge and best practices within your area of expertise.

Maintain accurate administrative records such as time reporting, expenses, and job documentation.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and hands‑on field experience.

Around 5+ years of experience working in electrical field service, commissioning, or power systems support.

Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to approximately 75 %).

Experience servicing or refurbishing low‑ and medium‑voltage circuit breakers is highly desirable.

Background in testing, startup, and troubleshooting of medium‑voltage equipment or rotating electrical machinery is a strong advantage.

Strong problem‑solving skills, customer‑facing communication ability, and comfort working independently in the field.
