Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and prepare accounts receivable invoices Perform monthly close activities, including journal entries Review, research, and resolve accounting transactions Conduct monthly job cost reviews to ensure accurate and consistent GL coding Complete monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations Maintain and update workpapers for all balance sheet accounts Prepare annual 1099s Maintain accurate documentation and organized accounting files Provide general office and ad‑hoc support as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting Strong understanding of accrual accounting Proficiency with accounting software Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong overall computer skills Highly organized, detail‑driven, and able to work independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing deadlines Seniority level
