About the role WPP’s US Treasury team seeks a Treasury Analyst to join our New York office, responsible for cash management, liquidity, and risk‑management functions in a dynamic global environment.

Responsibilities

Daily Cash Management:

Manage daily cash positioning, monitor bank balances, initiate wire transfers, perform reconciliations across multiple accounts and legal entities.

Liquidity & Cash Flow Forecasting:

Prepare and analyze short‑term and long‑term cash flow forecasts, identify variances, and provide insights to management.

Bank Relationship Management & Administration:

Assist with account set‑up and closures, update signatories, serve as point of contact for bank operational issues, maintain system accuracy in treasury management systems.

Foreign Exchange (FX) Support:

Assist with FX exposure reporting, support execution and settlement of FX transactions.

Debt Management Support:

Assist with debt reporting, interest calculations, compliance with covenants, and administration of credit facilities.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

Conduct ad‑hoc analysis, prepare reports for senior management, support month‑end and quarter‑end close processes.

Compliance & Internal Controls:

Ensure compliance with treasury policies and external regulations, participate in audit requests.

Process Improvement:

Identify efficiencies, automate processes, and participate in treasury projects.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

1–3 years of relevant experience in corporate treasury, finance, or banking operations.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Excel (intermediate‑to‑advanced).

Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (e.g., IT2, Kyriba, SAP, FIS) and banking platforms.

Experience with financial reporting tools is a plus.

Core Competencies

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

Team orientation and ability to work independently.

High level of integrity and discretion handling sensitive financial information.

Preferred Qualifications

Working toward or holding a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.

Experience in a global, multi‑entity organization.

Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools.

Prior experience in the media, advertising, or marketing industry.
