Accountant for Nonprofit Organizations We seek a dedicated, personable, hands‑on Accountant who thrives in a dynamic environment and joins us in delivering transformative accounting services to our clients. The role offers promotion potential to a Controller level and supports a hybrid work model with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
Weekly and monthly processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
Monthly financial statements and related analysis
Grant tracking and monitoring
Cash flow projections and monitoring
Preparation for outside audits
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3 years of related experience in public accounting and/or industry; 5+ years preferred
Outstanding communication skills and positive attitude
Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, multiple accounting software packages; QuickBooks experience is a plus
Intermediate-level Excel skills
Willingness to travel to client offices as needed when it is safe to do so
Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required
Expected to work during normal business hours to best serve our clients

For full‑time positions:

Actual base compensation may vary based on education, skill, experience, licensure and certification, internal salary ranges, geographical location, and other business needs.
