Payroll and Finance Specialist

Payroll and Finance Specialist – Beltrami County Beltrami County is creating an eligibility list for a full‑time, benefited Payroll and Finance Specialist to work in the Auditor/Treasurer’s office. Primary duties include administering bi‑weekly payroll, providing payroll guidance to employees and supervisors, reconciling payroll benefits and deductions, processing quarterly and annual payroll forms and reports, processing accounts payable invoices for payment and issuing 1099 forms, managing capital asset inventory, managing absentee voters and assisting with election processes, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under limited supervision of the Finance Division Director.

Preferred hiring salary range is $30.16 to $32.95 per hour, with a full range of $30.16 to $38.20 per hour. Placement depends on qualifications, internal equity, market conditions, and applicable policy guidelines.
