Base pay range $24.60/hr - $39.16/hr

About The Role The Staff Accountant II plays a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity and accuracy of the organization's accounting records. This position is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reconciling financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role involves collaborating with various departments to support month‑end and year‑end close processes, as well as assisting with audits and regulatory filings. The Staff Accountant II will also contribute to process improvements and help implement best practices in accounting procedures. Ultimately, this position ensures that financial data is accurate, timely, and supports strategic decision‑making across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 2 years of professional accounting experience.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Meditech, or NetSuite.

Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.

Previous experience in a corporate accounting environment.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including accruals, deferrals, and account analysis.

Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to support audit activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring adherence to company policies and accounting standards.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing accounting best practices.
