HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE As the Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the accounts receivable department along with the customer billing process. Additionally, this position will assist the Accounting Department with customer service, accounting support, accounts receivable reconciliation and other tasks within the Accounting Department.

SUCCESS ESSENTIALS A candidate for this position will exhibit excellent attention to detail and a natural curiosity for finding and reconciling discrepancies in information. This individual will work within the accounting team, while supporting the customer service, sales, and operations departments to provide accurate and timely billing of customers and efficient payment application. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to building successful relationships with the internal and external customers. Solid computer skills, including spreadsheet and ERP management are important for success. This position does not require experience; however, it may be repetitive in nature and requires good self‑management of time.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily customer delivery ticket scanning and customer billing

Customer specific invoicing processes (e.g. bulk and gas express, consolidated invoicing)

Data management for customer specific portal (e.g. Ariba, Taulia) processing

Customer payment application, including ACH payments, lockbox, virtual cards, credit cards and monthly customer credit card payment (e.g. Easy Pay)

Customer service, including:

Answering phone calls

Processing customer credit card payments

Supporting customers myCKaccount online accounts

New customer set‑up

Customer purchase order management

Customer document (e.g. invoices, delivery tickets, statements) requests

Sales tax support

Accounts receivable support including dunning, collections, past due management

Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors

Adhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words

Other duties, as assigned, within the job classification and business

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associates degree or equivalent in Accounting preferred but not required

Basic accounting knowledge required including debits & credits, accounts receivable, billing, and fixed asset or inventory understanding

Experience with accounts receivable and customer billing

Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills required

Organizational skills and natural curiosity to find discrepancies required

Good communication skills including verbal, written, and listening skills required

Experience with SAP, NetSuite, or other accounting software preferred

Comfortable working on a computer for over 75% of the day

Excel skills and reporting experience preferred
