Senior Fixed Asset Accountant Location: Greenville, SC. Employment type: Full-time.

Salary: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year.

A high-energy role focused on fixed asset accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP, accurate asset ledger maintenance, and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze capital project and fixed asset activity for accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Record asset acquisitions and disposals, calculate and post depreciation, and reconcile the fixed asset ledger.

Support month-end and year-end close, delivering timely and accurate financial reporting.

Conduct physical inventory counts and resolve variances.

Prepare documentation for financial and tax audits and respond to regulatory inquiries.

Assist with service center accounting reviews and general ledger reconciliations.

Apply new accounting policies and ensure ongoing compliance with accounting standards.

Drive process and internal control improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

B.S. in Accounting required; CPA or CPA in progress a plus.

3–5 years of corporate or public accounting experience, with strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting.

Experience with Sage Fixed Assets is a plus.

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.

High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage deadlines.
