Position Summary The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of the Accounts and Finance team, assisting the Director of Finance in all phases of accounting at our East Coast Factory.

Essentials Functions

Works closely with the Director of Finance and assists with month‑end financial close and reporting.

Prepares journal entries to account for business activities with accuracy, timeliness and completeness, supported by proper documentation and calculation, and in compliance with the generally accepted accounting principles.

Assists in Bill of Material (BOM) and production routing setting.

Maintains confidentiality of financial data and transactions.

Responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Performs intercompany billing.

Performs monthly general ledger account reconciliation.

Performs monthly bank reconciliations and follows up on outstanding items.

Tracks capital expenditure and prepares monthly capital expenditure report by the first two working days of the month following month‑end close.

Monitors fixed asset tagging status and performs annual fixed asset counts through coordination with other business units.

Participates in physical inventory count and prepares count report.

Handles audit requests and budget preparation.

Monitors and provides back‑up support for accounts receivable, accounts payable or daily accounting operations as assigned in accordance with business needs.

Performs ad‑hoc reports and assignments as needed.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each major responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience.

Bilingual skill in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese is required for communication with headquarters overseas.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, with solid experience in financial accounting and general ledger.

Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); working knowledge and experience of accounting software and ERP systems preferred; SAP experience highly preferred.

Fixed asset experience is highly preferred.

Must be organized, dependable, punctual, professional; able to multi‑task and prioritize accordingly to meet deadlines.

Able to work independently in cross‑functional teams to achieve established goals.

The individual must possess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
