This is an intermittent position scheduled for no more than 20 hours per week, within regular business hours of 8:00am-5:00pm. The schedule will be discussed further in an interview.
Job Summary
Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments to persons seeking or residing in a nursing home for OBRA Mental Health Assessments.
Directly observe, interview, and evaluate referred individuals in community settings, and provide recommendations to the Agency and/or nursing home staff for mental‑health treatment and programs designed to enhance an individual's lifestyle.
Complete timely comprehensive psychosocial assessments and communications required while adhering to Agency policies, procedures, and OBRA requirements.
Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree required with a major in Social Work, Counseling or Clinical/Counseling Psychology.
Job‑Related Experience: Sufficient experience to perform the position at a satisfactory level. Experience with the relevant population in a community mental health setting preferred.
Licenses and Certifications: Michigan state licensure; valid driver’s license for vehicle operation on agency business.
