Billing Specialist
who thrives on accuracy, ownership, and collaboration.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing billing activities for assigned customers while providing critical accounts receivable and financial reporting insights to leadership. If you enjoy working with contracts, numbers, and data—and want your work to truly matter—this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Do
Manage time entry and prepare accurate, timely invoices for assigned customers
Interpret customer contracts to ensure correct billing and compliance
Create, review, and submit invoices with all required supporting documentation
Track invoice submissions and document delivery methods
Monitor Aged AR and follow up with customers to support timely payment
Maintain clear notes and communication for leadership and customer inquiries
Prepare and maintain:
Work‑In‑Progress (WIP) reports
Retention reports
Budget reports for executive review
Partner with field and internal teams to resolve billing or production gaps
Safeguard confidential financial and customer information
What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred
Experience working with customer contracts is a plus
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel skills preferred)
Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
