Job Responsibilities
Reviews complex payment requests for completeness, verifies estimates, analyzes transactions in specific accounts, and uses integrated systems to record and process financial transactions.
Applies and supervises the application of the principles of accounting theory to modify and maintain an accounting system.
Develops methods for recording and monitoring financial transactions and directs the preparation of financial reports.
Reviews assigned programs and monitors AP performance standards.
Ensures the accurate documentation of all financial transactions.
Provides effective, clear, and concise customer service to all internal and external customers.
Provides problem resolution in order to meet departmental goals.
Assists management as directed to meet department goals and objectives.
Completes other related tasks as assigned by management.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum And Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and one and one-half (1.5) years of professional experience in a related area such as accounting, auditing, finance, or banking; or an approved acceptable equivalence.
A bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for the required work experience.
A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.
The physical demands for the essential functions include sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods and working on a computer. May be required to lift up to 30 lbs. May be required to work outside normal business hours.
