This is a part-time, off-site role for a Mortgage Loan Officer in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting clients with their purchasing and refinancing needs, assessing financial information, recommending suitable loan products, and guiding clients through the loan application process. Additional responsibilities include researching loan options, maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Qualifications
NMLS License with the Department of Banking & Finance Strong knowledge and experience in mortgage lending, loan policies, and refinancing processes Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to assess financial documents Proficiency in financial research and problem-solving Familiarity with relevant regulatory compliance standards and ethical practices Proficiency in using loan origination and financial software tools Self‑motivated, with a positive and professional attitude Previous experience in the mortgage or financial services industry is a plus Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred – If you are not currently licensed you must take the test and pass to obtain your license with the Department of Banking & Finance before hire.
