Your role: Your key duties and responsibilities
Ensure accurate general ledger accounting in compliance with national and international accounting standards (OIC/IFRS).
Manage periodic tax obligations (VAT, corporate income taxes, withholding taxes, tax returns).
Support the preparation of statutory and consolidated financial statements.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Monitor changes in tax and accounting regulations, assessing their impact on the company.
Manage relationships with external consultants, auditors, and tax authorities.
Collaborate with the Finance team and other departments to ensure proper application of tax regulations across business processes.
Contribute to the improvement of accounting and tax processes, including ERP system optimization.
Contribute to manage accounting aspects relating to HR management.
Other duties You may be asked to support additional finance‑related tasks as your role evolves.
Your skills, experience, and qualifications required
Master's degree in Accounting and Finance (preferably with honors).
3‑5 years of experience in accounting and tax, preferably in structured environments or consulting firms (Big 4).
In-depth knowledge of Italian accounting principles (OIC) and international standards (IFRS).
Strong understanding of Italian tax regulations.
Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
Accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English.
Availability to travel weekly to the company location in Emilia‑Romagna.
