About the Role
We are seeking an
Accountant II – Finance
to support the preparation of regulatory reports for a broker‑dealer environment. This role plays a key part in transforming financial data into accurate, compliant regulatory reporting through data analysis, reconciliations, and control checks. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and highly proficient in Excel.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of regulatory and financial reports for a broker‑dealer
Support end‑to‑end reporting processes, including data retrieval, aggregation, and calculations
Analyze data to identify exceptions, discrepancies, and trends
Perform account reconciliations and control checks to ensure data completeness and accuracy
Work with large datasets in Excel using advanced functions such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
Provide ad hoc analysis and support special projects as assigned
Create, enhance, and maintain written desktop procedures and documentation
Collaborate with internal teams to support reporting and compliance initiatives
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance)
Relevant experience in accounting or finance
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and similar functions)
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Preferred
Experience supporting regulatory or financial reporting in a financial services or broker‑dealer environment
Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, and PowerPoint
Ability and willingness to learn and apply new data analysis and reporting tools
Technical Skills
Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis)
Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, and PowerPoint (preferred)
