Position Summary:
At RBG, we are looking for a true team player. Someone who strives to embody our core values, appreciates their teammates, and works diligently to help their clients. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in Client Accounting and a proven track record of progressive responsibilities. A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance is strongly preferred. This individual is responsible for providing outsourced bookkeeping and accounting services for our clients.
Role & Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports for clients using client records
Prepare a variety of business tax returns (i.e., Payroll, Quarterly 941, Annual 940, 1099, W-2), personal property tax filings, gross business receipts (Business Tax, etc.), Sales and use tax, in an accurate and timely manner
Maintain client records
Make fundamental decisions relating to applicable tax and accounting matters
Build and manage relationships with existing clients
Manage multiple client engagements and respond well to competing priorities
Assist with other client accounting requests
Requirements:
3+ years prior experience in client accounting services (public accounting experience preferred)
Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Strong accounting and analytical skills
Strong computer skills: proficiency preferred in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop and other accounting software systems, Excel, and MS Office
Clearly communicate tax and accounting issues to clients and staff
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
Work effectively in diverse groups, creating a sense of team identity and a feeling of support within teams
Establish professional credibility with clients
Establish high-performance standards for self and others
Maintain a high level of confidentiality
Knowledge of the products and services of the firm, and the ability to effectively communicate them
Ability and desire to learn
