Repair Station Inspector – 2nd Shift Hours:

2:00pm – 10:00pm.

Hourly rate:

$33.50 per hour (general guideline; actual rate based on experience, skills, and market).

Job Summary Visually and dimensionally inspect parts to print. Uphold the quality and integrity of all parts manufactured. Support operations to help meet internal/external goals for suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

Utilize CMM to inspect diameters, gauge points and various liner dimensions.

Able to understand drawings and routing detail to ensure the product is complete and conforming.

Review material certificates to ensure product is manufactured for correct material.

Record/document all receiving, in-process, and final inspection findings as required.

Participate in 5S and maintain a clean working area.

Generate non‑conformance reports when parts do not meet specifications.

Follow all applicable procedures and uphold quality standards.

Perform contract review.

Learn and use MFGPro SSM (Service Support Module) to receive repairs and record teardown reports.

Disassemble repairs and perform detailed visual inspections.

Choose proper technical data and routes for incoming repairs (specifications, blueprints, technical documents, engine shop manuals, component maintenance manuals).

Prepare release‑to‑service certifications (FAA, FAA/EASA, CAAC).

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing processes.

Position requires use of ITAR‑controlled information; all applicants must be U.S. persons.

Must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Beltsville; relocation not offered.

Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Skills & Position Criteria

Must understand, read, and write English.

Must lift up to 35 lb. unassisted on a regular basis.

DOT safety‑sensitive.

Knowledge of advanced blueprint reading and GD&T preferred.

Strong mechanical/technical aptitude.

Computer skills.

Detail oriented with low DPPM.

Proficient in GD&T interpretation acceptable.

Previous leadership experience and knowledge of MFGPro preferred.

Possible exposure to radiation via XRF device.
