## Job Description# DataStage Developer* Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM DataStage to support data integration and transformation needs.* Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and integration with ETL workflows.* Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.* Write and optimize SQL queries for Snowflake and other relational databases.* Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts and Python scripts to support ETL automation and job scheduling.* Participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis for data-related issues.* Support change management processes, including documentation and deployment of code changes.* Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and data flow diagrams.* Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.* 4+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage development.* Strong experience with Python for data processing and automation.* Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms.* Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting.* Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.* Experience with incident and change management processes (ITIL framework preferred).* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.* Ability to work onsite 4 days a week in Columbus, OH or Detroit, MI.* Experience in the banking or financial services industry.* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.* Exposure to data quality, data lineage, and metadata management tools.
