About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated, responsible and experienced
Security Manager
to oversee and lead the company’s security operations across all logistics and warehouse facilities. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive security programs to protect personnel, assets, cargo, and information. The Security Manager will lead the security team, manage vendors, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure a safe, secure, compliant, and efficient logistics environment.
What you’ll do
Develop, implement, and continuously improve company-wide security policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard logistics facilities, personnel, and assets.
Manage and oversee all daily security operations, including guard management, access control, surveillance systems, and incident reporting across multiple sites.
Conduct regular risk assessments, cargo security reviews, and security audits; identify vulnerabilities and lead corrective action plans.
Lead emergency response and crisis management, including fire, theft, cargo loss, natural disasters, and workplace violence.
Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, customs, and other regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and effective incident response.
Supervise and train the security team; promote employee awareness on security, emergency preparedness and response procedures, and loss prevention.
Manage and evaluate third-party security vendors and contractors to ensure performance and cost effectiveness.
Prepare management reports and maintain accurate records on security incidents, inspections, and compliance metrics.
Support logistics operations in preventing cargo theft, shrinkage, and operational disruptions.
Perform other management duties and special security projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum of
5 years’ experience in corporate or logistics security , with at least
2 years in a supervisory or management role .
Strong knowledge of logistics and warehouse security systems, including CCTV, access control, cargo protection, and alarm systems.
Proven ability to assess risk, lead investigations, and manage emergency and incident response.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Professional certifications in security or safety (e.g.,
CPP, PSP, or Security Supervisor License ) are an advantage.
