Upway is a fast growing startup building the largest marketplace for refurbished e-bikes globally. We have refurbished over 100,000 e-bikes in just three years and we want to reach 1,000,000 by 2030! Upway's mission is to make e-mobility accessible to a wide range of people. Our goal is to build the largest and highest quality e-bike range by sourcing and reconditioning the best e-bikes.
The U.S. is our key investment market, and to support our UpCenter in New York, we are looking for an exceptional organizational talent to lead Office Management and HR Administration as soon as possible.
Your Mission Administrative & HR Support
Lead the onboarding and offboarding experience for new and departing employees — making sure every transition is seamless.
Support HR topics such as employment contracts and personnel administration.
Prepare our monthly payroll together with our accountant — managing working hours, absences, and reports with accuracy and care.
Act as the go-to person for all administrative and HR-related questions.
Be the main point of contact for our HR SaaS.
Collaborate with our accountant to ensure invoices and financial documents are processed correctly and on time.
Team Building & Culture
Bring people together by organizing regular team events and initiatives that make work more meaningful and fun.
Contribute to a positive, people-first culture where collaboration and appreciation thrive.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in office management and/or administrative support.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
A positive attitude and a solution-oriented approach.
A proactive, hands‑on mentality, ready to take on a variety of tasks.
Excellent attention to detail.
Fluent communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
A genuine passion for creating a fantastic working environment.
