Responsibilities The Resident Manager will be responsible for maintaining the physical assets of the property, monitoring the day-to-day operations of an experienced maintenance staff, evaluating the budgets for and financial performance of the property, and cultivating positive, lasting tenant‑landlord relationships. The successful candidate will create an attractive, welcoming, and desirable community that embraces all qualified applicants.

Core Responsibilities

Staff Supervision:

Responsible for the direction and supervision of the maintenance employees.

Recommends hiring, terminating, discipline, suspension, promotion and/or rewards for staffing in accordance with Equal Employment Opportunity requirements, related company EEO policies, and federal, state, and local Human Rights/Civil Rights statutes, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Responsible for the implementation of and adherence to Fair Housing practices per the company’s Fair Housing Policy and training.

Building Operations:

Responsible for all maintenance and repairs at the development.

Apartment turnover to produce units that are impeccably clean, mechanically in good working order, and properly painted prior to residents’ move‑in.

Maintain common areas: laundry rooms, hallways, offices, shops, storage areas, refuse areas, and grounds, scheduled for routine janitorial tasks.

Follow purchase order instructions established by the district/regional office.

Solicit, review, and recommend third‑party contracts when directed by the District Manager.

Ensure concierge staff comply with guest/key authorization steps on the Yardi system.

Ensure concierge staff record incident reports on the Yardi system.

Utilize Building Engines software for all mechanical property management tasks.

Qualifications

5–7 years of recent hands‑on experience in property management.

Experience with luxury condominiums preferred but not required.

3+ years of supervisory experience.

Facilities/operations experience with strong knowledge of building systems.

Proficient in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and basic construction.

Experience managing a tenant amenity space.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Comprehensive knowledge of industry software systems; preferably One‑site.

Proven career success in multi‑family housing, luxury, or market‑rate segments.

Expertise managing assets with mixed‑use space.

Effective communication with all levels of management, internally and externally.

Experience managing multiple projects and people.

Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is $115,000 – $120,000. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible for discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
