Asset Management Portfolio Manager
At Regions, the Asset Management Portfolio Manager serves as a Portfolio Manager for assigned managed accounts.
Primary Responsibilities
Manages a book of either Private Wealth or Institutional Clients by serving as the Portfolio Manager
Works with clients and multiple partners to develop investment objectives and goals through discussion and identification of client priorities
Implements and communicates investment‑related changes based on Investment Working Group guidelines to ensure clients receive the best thinking of Regions Asset Management
Effectively implements Portfolio Management Group Strategic Initiatives and may provide input
Leverages resources to maintain and increase efficiency to focus on clients at an effective level
Addresses and responds to all risk‑related items in a timely fashion including but not limited to investment reviews, asset allocation flags, and other risk reports
Executes the Regions Client Experience at an advanced level
Initiates and monitors required actions related to modeling and trading of client accounts
Builds relationships with all partners at an advanced level to retain and grow revenue from existing client relationships
Participates and may lead the sales process with partners and teammates to identify and solidify new business opportunities focused on trust and investment management
Keeps abreast of trends and developments in the economy and markets to ensure effective communication to clients and partners
Participates in and may lead project teams as assigned by PMG leadership
May serve as a liaison between portfolio managers and PMG leadership
May serve as a mentor or leader to other portfolio managers
This position is exempt from time‑keeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or International Equivalent
Seven (7) years applicable knowledge or experience in investment / portfolio management, brokerage, finance, or equivalent
Preferences
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Economics
Technical Training in financial and economic markets
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA)
Skills and Competencies
Analytical, organization and presentation skills
Knowledgeable about sales techniques and possess sales aptitude
Proven performance in investment management and client service
Skilled in applicable computer software programsVerbal and written communication skills

Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
Job Range Target :
Minimum: $125,813.60 USD
Median: $168,920.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans: This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn incentives based on performance against defined metrics and goals. Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
