Directs all Advancement Financial Services accounts receivable (AR) and gift processing functions; coordinates and oversees all revenue streams; responsible for month-end and year-end functions; responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating the gift processing team; oversees the administration of new funds established with the UNI Foundation; serves as a member of the data management committee, overseeing general ledger and constituent tracking policies and procedures; oversees pledges receivable; collaborates with accounts payable and scholarship administration for continuity; participates in the development, testing, training, and promotion of current and new technologies to automate processes and increase efficiency; and provides ad-hoc reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Direct AR and gift processing functions for Advancement.

Coordinate and oversee all revenue streams.

Manage month-end and year-end accounting processes.

Hire, train, coach, and evaluate the gift processing team.

Administer new funds established with the UNI Foundation.

Serve on the data management committee overseeing general ledger and constituent tracking policies.

Oversee pledges receivable.

Collaborate with accounts payable and scholarship administration.

Participate in development, testing, training, and promotion of technologies to automate processes.

Provide ad-hoc reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.

At least three years of professional accounting experience.

Working knowledge of computerized accounting systems and spreadsheet software.

Knowledge of non-profit administration, taxation, and charitable giving instruments.

Supervisory experience.

CPA designation preferred.
