Billing Coordinator – Legal Billing Expertise Needed! (Hybrid - 3 days in NYC in the Financial District)
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in legal billing? We’re looking for a Billing Coordinator to join our team and support our billing operations with precision and efficiency.
Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
What You’ll Bring:
5+ years of legal billing experience
Proficiency in
Aderant Expert
Strong skills in Excel and the MS Suite
Familiarity with major e-billing platforms: TyMetrix, CounselLink, Legal Tracker, Collaborati, Passport, etc.
Expertise in LEDES formats and client‑specific billing requirements
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
What You’ll Do:
Manage all aspects of client billing
Ensure compliance with client guidelines and billing arrangements
Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and vendors to resolve billing issues
Submit accruals, WIP reports, and ad‑hoc reporting
Handle e‑bill submissions and follow through on rejections and payments
Be the go‑to resource for billing questions and support your team as needed
This role reports directly to the Director of Legal Billing and offers the opportunity to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.
