**Summary of Responsibilities*** Coordinate recruitment, hiring, training, evaluation of all orientation and transition student staffing* Support management of orientation and transition student staffing budget* Engage in strategic enrollment initiatives by coordinating the logistics and staffing planning for in-person

and online onboarding experiences for all new UWM students with support from other staff on the orientation and transition team* Support assessment of orientation and transition initiatives## **Key Job Responsibilities:*** Serves as a subject matter expert regarding student affairs to internal and external stakeholders* Generates and analyzes reports of curricular and unit outcomes* Organizes student-focused programming and resources to promote new and ongoing educational initiatives* Creates and maintains schedules, logistics, and resources for one or multiple student affairs programs, activities, and/or services* Writes, edits, and publishes content for various communication projects and marketing platforms to align with strategic initiatives and established communication campaigns**Department:** New Student Programs**Compensation:** $45,000.00 - $52,000.00## **Required Qualifications:*** Bachelor's Degree or higher, or commensurate work experience* Experience working with a diverse student population and/or event management* Experience with mentoring, supervision, leadership, and/or training/development of student employees## **Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience with New Student Programs/Orientation, Transition programming, Student Leadership Development or Student Activities in a higher education setting* Outstanding written communication skills (as demonstrated by evaluation of application materials)* Experience coordinating logistically challenging programs with various partners and stakeholders* Experience supporting organizational mission, values, goals, and objectives, as well as all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.* Experience utilizing Slate or similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system## **How to Apply:**Interested applicants are required to apply online and submit a resume and cover letter that addresses how their experience meets the qualifications of the position. **PLEASE NOTE: resumes and cover letters will need to be uploaded to the same area in the application.** In instances where the Search and Screen is unable to ascertain from the candidates' application materials whether they meet any of the qualifications, they may be evaluated as not meeting such qualifications.
