Kforce has a client in Sterling, VA that is seeking a Contract Recruiter.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements for general labor roles
Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, referrals, and local outreach
Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit
Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams
Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure compliance with hiring policies
Assist with onboarding processes including background checks, drug screenings, and new hire paperwork
Represent the company professionally during job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach initiatives
Provide weekly updates and metrics on recruiting progress to leadership
Proven experience recruiting for general labor or high-volume roles
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize tasks effectively
Familiarity with ATS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of local labor market trends and sourcing techniques
High level of professionalism and discretion
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a staffing agency or high-volume recruiting environment
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
Understanding of labor compliance and employment laws
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
