Job Description TSMC Arizona is seeking a highly motivated professional to support our Toxic Gas Monitoring Systems (GMS). In this critical role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of GMS equipment, directly contributing to the safety and operational efficiency of our facilities. You will collaborate closely with the Emergency Response Team during alarm events, offering essential technical support and expertise. Responsibilities

System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform installation, maintenance, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of toxic gas monitoring (TGM) equipment, including detectors, alarms, and control systems.

Emergency Response Support: Collaborate closely with the Emergency Response Team (ERT) during alarm events, providing essential technical support and expertise to identify and resolve issues.

Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety policies and protocols, including Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure all work complies with federal/state standards like OSHA and NFPA.

Operational Rounds: Conduct daily rounds, perform safety inspections, record readings, and monitor online gas and chemical systems.

Documentation and Auditing: Maintain accurate, up-to-date procedures and documentation, and perform regular audits to support safety and quality initiatives.

Continuous Improvement: Drive quality and cost‑saving initiatives by analyzing safety and equipment data and participating in continuous improvement projects.

Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical and electrical ability to work with complex machinery, including high purity gas delivery systems, pneumatic controls, and analytical equipment.

Problem‑Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment alarms, defects, and process issues efficiently.

Safety Focus: A strong personal and professional commitment to safety for oneself and team members is paramount.

Collaboration: The role requires working in a team environment and collaborating with cross‑functional groups, including manufacturing, engineering, and external vendors.

Physical Requirements The essential functions of this position require the ability to perform basic physical activities associated with working in a cleanroom or advanced manufacturing environment, including but not limited to:

Walking and standing for extended periods of time.

Reaching, bending, and stooping to access equipment, materials, and workstations.

Handling, positioning, or operating cleanroom tools, components, or materials.

Wearing required cleanroom garments and personal protective equipment.

Performing routing or repetitive motions consistent with cleanroom procedures.
