SITEC - Active Directory Systems Administrator - MacDill AFB
requires Systems Administrators to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM. This position is located at MacDill AFB, Florida and focuses on managing the Active Directory infrastructure and authentication services.
Key responsibilities include:
Design, implement, and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) permissions within a multi-tenant enterprise environment.
Maintain optimal performance and stability of the domain controller infrastructure and related servers.
Implement advanced security measures to protect the Active Directory environment.
Design, maintain, and administer Domain/Forest trusts and Directory replication.
Utilize Active Directory troubleshooting utilities, PowerShell scripting, and diagnostic tools.
Manage Kerberos Authentication Protocols and LDAPS/LDAP services.
Operate Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 and related client operating systems.
Apply foundational knowledge of DNS and enterprise environments.
Administer multiple Domain Controllers and maintain production Windows Servers supporting mission-critical initiatives.
Leverage global Active Directory administration experience with Microsoft 2019/2022 environments.
Required qualifications:
Minimum of 9 years experience for HS Diploma holders, 7 years for AS/AA, 5 years for BS/BA, or 3 years for MS/MA credentials.
DoD 8570 IAT II Certification.
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
Experience with Linux Red Hat is a plus.
Availability for shift and weekend work.
Desired qualifications:
MCSA or equivalent Microsoft Certified Associate.
VMWare Certified Associate (VCA).
Salary Range : $66,000 – $106,000 (role dependent). Eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus.
