EDI Analyst – ZWILLING J.A. Henckels LLC
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically astute
EDI Analyst
to run our daily EDI operations, new partner onboarding, and associated integration platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in SAP IDoc resolution and a proven ability to independently learn, master, and own new systems.
Key Responsibilities
New Partner Onboarding
Execute the technical setup for new EDI trading partners, including configuring SAP partner profiles, ports, and logical systems.
Coordinate with external providers (e.g., SPS Commerce) to implement and test new EDI maps (e.g., 850, 856, 810 etc.).
SAP IDoc Analysis & Resolution
Perform daily monitoring and reprocessing of IDocs in SAP S/4HANA.
Analyze IDoc segments to identify and troubleshoot data‑related and configuration errors.
Collaborate with master data teams to correct underlying data issues causing IDoc failures.
Integration System Management
Take ownership, independently learning, operating, and troubleshooting connected systems, specifically Rithum, Shopify, and CommerceHub.
Assist in troubleshooting basic API connection failures (e.g., analyzing JSON/XML error responses) between SAP and these platforms.
Analyze X12 mapping issues and hand over to most appropriate party.
Coordination & Facilitation
Act as the technical liaison between internal Customer Service teams and external partners (SPS Commerce) to communicate setup timelines, test results, and resolve technical errors.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience in an EDI technical support role.
Essential practical experience with SAP S/4HANA (or ECC), specifically: IDoc troubleshooting: Deep familiarity with transactions WE02, BD87, and WE19.
IDoc structure: Ability to read and understand common IDoc segments and data fields.
Partner setup: Working knowledge of WE20.
Proven ability to self‑teach and become a subject matter expert on new software platforms (Rithum, CommerceHub, etc.) with minimal formal training.
Experience working directly with 3rd‑party EDI providers (e.g., SPS Commerce).
Basic understanding of API concepts (REST, JSON, authentication keys) and experience reviewing API logs for errors.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of specific EDI standards (ANSI X12).
Familiarity with communication protocols like AS2 or SFTP.
Experience in a retail and e‑commerce environment.
Possesses a strong entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on value creation.
Adept at optimizing internal operations and enhancing process efficiency.
Compensation Range:
$53,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year contingent upon experience.
Location:
Pleasantville, NY – Hybrid (3 days in office per week) OR Remote if located more than 60 miles from our Pleasantville, NY office.
