Shift Timings:
Second Shift | 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM (40 hours/week)
Job Description Interior Installation Technician I works under close supervision to remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interior components while adhering to company procedures, quality standards, and FAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interior components such as galleys, closets, lavatories, bulkheads, doors, and panels
Perform work according to work orders, specifications, and repair station procedures
Coordinate with supervision and inspection teams to ensure FAA and internal compliance
Use material tracking systems to manage parts demand, track squawks, and complete sign-offs
Safely operate and maintain shop tools and equipment (hand tools, saws, sanders, brakes, etc.)
Follow safety, PPE, 5S, and housekeeping standards
Support aircraft certification, final phase testing, and potential flight test activities
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Ability to work any shift
Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 40 lbs
Basic computer literacy
Preferred Qualifications
Aerospace or aviation industry experience
Installation, fabrication, or related trade experience
Trade school or technical training
