Role Description
Full‑time on‑site PLC Programmer located in Fairmont, WV. The role involves design, programming and troubleshooting of PLC systems, developing control system programs, testing and commissioning equipment, diagnosing and resolving system issues, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to optimize system performance.

Responsibilities
Design, program, and maintain PLC systems using Rockwell RSLogix 5, 500, and 5000.
Develop and configure HMI applications with Rockwell FactoryTalk View ME and SE.
Commission, troubleshoot, and optimize Allen‑Bradley PowerFlex series VFDs.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate automation solutions into production processes.
Provide technical support for system upgrades, modifications, and expansions.
Document programming standards, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Train maintenance and operations staff on automation systems as needed.
Working Conditions
Walk / use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or tools / reach with hands and arms / climb ladders and stairs / crawl / kneel.
Sit, talk, listen, observe, read, write, and type.
Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Perform work on site in industrial locations with occasional underground and/or at heights.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in Rockwell RSLogix 5, 500, and 5000 PLC programming.
Strong experience with FactoryTalk View ME and SE HMI development.
Hands‑on expertise in commissioning and troubleshooting Allen‑Bradley PowerFlex VFDs.
Solid understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and electrical schematics.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with other PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Mitsubishi).
Familiarity with alternative VFD software and hardware ecosystems.
Knowledge of industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet).
Experience with SCADA systems and data integration.
