Sr. Technical Program Manager

role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) within the Artificial General Intelligence Data Services (AGI‑DS) organization. AGI‑DS develops diverse datasets to train and evaluate Amazon AI models, tackling some of humanity’s most challenging problems.

Key Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact and account owner for key science customers.

Build and execute plans to fulfill mid‑term and long‑term data needs across diverse domains, novel data formats, and multiple fulfillment channels.

Identify opportunities to multiply innovation across different data workstreams, driving advances in science and complex data representations.

Work cross‑functionally with scientists, Language Engineers, product teams, and external partners.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of direct experience working with engineering teams.

5+ years of technical product or program management experience.

Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.

3+ years of experience in complex data creation for AI models.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.

Experience defining KPIs/SLA’s used to drive multi‑million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

Additional experience in managing projects across cross‑functional teams and building sustainable processes.

Compensation ranges from $133,900 per year in lower geographic markets to $231,400 per year in higher markets. Equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits may also be offered as part of the total compensation package.
