Overview Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is hiring a full‑time Temporary Traveler RN (Registered Nurse) in our PCU/Stepdown Unit.

$70/hr

Night shift

The patient population on this 24‑bed unit is step‑down patients in need of intermediate care. This progressive care unit provides nursing care for patients who are too ill for general medical/surgical units, but do not need an intensive level of care in the ICU. Population is general medicine, surgical, chronic vents (4 beds), bypass patients. We are a Stroke Certified unit.

Education Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required.

Certification / Licensure

Virginia or Compact Multi‑State License in good standing

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

NIH stroke scale

Experience Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital experience.

Hospital Overview Sentara Princess Anne Hospital is a Magnet Status, general medical and surgical facility with 160 beds. It offers a full‑service emergency department, critical care, oncology, and stroke services. The hospital also includes a Family Maternity Center with an on‑site neonatal intensive care unit.
