Responsibilities
Execute compliance procedures and enforce policy governance to ensure business operations align with regulatory guidance
Develop solutions to moderately complex compliance issues and escalate as necessary
Support and lead project management efforts for Compliance initiatives
Represent the Compliance Department in projects, contracts, and cross-functional assignments
Research legal and regulatory issues affecting compliance programs and document findings
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent work experience; HS diploma or GED required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in legal, compliance, or project/program coordination roles in healthcare or a highly regulated industry
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in complex situations
Thorough understanding of compliance program principles and practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management or healthcare
Familiarity with Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and/or the Affordable Care Act
Certification as a Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Healthcare Compliance Professional (CHC)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience managing licensing applications and renewals
