Billing Supervisor
A dynamic organization is seeking a seasoned Billing Supervisor to lead a high‑performing billing team and drive operational excellence across multiple business units. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with deep billing expertise, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for process improvement.
The selected candidate will oversee a team of 4–6 billing professionals, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing while maintaining compliance and audit readiness. This position plays a critical role in optimizing billing workflows, enhancing system performance, and mentoring team members.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily billing operations, manage workloads, and provide coaching and performance feedback.
Monitor dashboards, validate data, and conduct invoice audits to ensure precision and compliance.
Identify bottlenecks, implement automation strategies, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve billing workflows.
Lead month‑end billing reviews, track KPIs, and align outputs with revenue recognition standards.
Drive training initiatives, support onboarding, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years in billing, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
Advanced Excel proficiency (including XLOOKUP and VLOOKUP).
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
Exposure to Power BI dashboards is a strong plus.
Experience with portal and equipment billing is highly desirable; lien process understanding is a bonus.
