Program Budget Analyst
Overview
Responsible for budgeting activities for an engineering development and manufacturing contract. Work with Kearfott Finance and Project Scheduler for schedule activities and determine earned value metrics. Responsible for contract planning, budgeting, and reporting of cost and schedule. Essential Functions
Collect/report actual contract costs to the customer. Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) duties including baseline planning, tracking performance, and identifying variances. Provide regular financial analyses and forecasts to ensure alignment with program goals. Develop and maintain Comprehensive Estimates at Completion (CEAC). Create Cost and Software Data Report (CSDR) in accordance with the CSDR plan provided by the Prime Contractor. Create Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS)/CWBS dictionary, per the requirements of MIL‑STD‑881D and conform to the Customer‑approved CSDR Plan for the contract and DD Form 2794. Work with Prime Contractor Cost Working Group Integrated Product Team (CWIPT) to ensure all reporting requirements can be met. Requirements
Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, conditional formatting, and chart creation). Prior Cost Account Management / EVMS Experience (CAM 101 Certified) preferred. SAP proficiency. Strong written, presentation, and communication skills. Demonstrated success in utilizing Earned Value (EV) Management, developing and managing integrated master schedules, and performing critical path and financial analysis. BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related major and 5‑10 years of direct experience. Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance. $105,000 – $135,000 Annually.
This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal consistency.
