Use information collected from a variety of computer network defense resources—including intrusion detection system alerts, firewall logs, network traffic logs, and host system logs—to identify, analyze, and report events that occur or might occur within the environment. Qualifications
Relevant experience in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering. Experience in network or system administration. Completion of military training courses such as JCAC (Joint Cyber Analysis Course), UCT (Undergraduate Cyber Training), NWBC/INWT (Network Warfare Bridge Course/Intermediate Network Warfare Training), or Cyber Defense Operations considered toward the experience requirement (20‑24 week courses count as 6 months, 10‑14 week courses as 3 months). Degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or a related field. Seniority Level
