What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Develop actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support key initiatives
Calculate profitability reports for various business segments
Conduct regular and ad‑hoc analyses to identify efficiency and affordability improvements
Evaluate government reimbursement processes to identify risks and opportunities
Prepare monthly calculations of the company’s IBNR reserves
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, or a related field
Minimum of one (1) year of decision support or financial analysis experience
Intermediate experience with database management tools (SAS or Access)
Active pursuit of an actuarial designation (ASA)
A combination of industry experience and exams passed totaling five or more years
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with Medicare Advantage bids and data compilation for support
Proficiency in developing and using pricing models related to Medicare Advantage
Familiarity with Medicare Risk Adjustment and building large Excel models
Experience with DSNP and/or FIDE/HIDE‑SNPs
Proficient in SQL and other data manipulation software
