As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you’ll develop and grow your own practice, supported by your branch team, a home‑office team and other regional financial advisors.

Key Responsibilities

Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies.

Deeply understand clients’ needs and priorities to create personalized strategies.

Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities for a high‑quality client experience.

Engage the branch team to monitor and adjust the business plan to increase effectiveness.

Create an engaging environment of trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.

² As your new asset compensation and commissions increase over the first five years, salary will decrease.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work‑related experience in securities/financial services.

Financial services and/or sales experience.

Financial services registration, licensing, or certification.

Professional and/or military career progression.

Licensing

SIE (obtained without firm sponsorship), Series 7 and Series 66 required.

FINRA registrations required within three months.

State insurance licenses required.

Ongoing training and CE required to maintain licenses.

Compensation We support and reward you with trainee pay, supplemental salary for up to five years, commissions, and compensation for new assets in the first five years.
