Live Oak Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Staffing Coordinator
to support our nursing department. In this key administrative role, you will be responsible for coordinating staff schedules, ensuring proper staffing coverage, and maintaining accurate employee records to promote smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain an up-to-date directory of all resident care employee phone numbers.
Share current contact information for department managers with the Business Office.
Track and document daily tardiness and absenteeism; report concerns to the DON.
Coordinate modified duty scheduling with HR and the DON per facility policy.
Assist staff with leave requests, time cards, and other related forms.
Prepare and post monthly nursing schedules based on staffing requests and facility needs.
Assist nursing supervisors and the DON with staffing adjustments and schedule changes.
Respond to employee calls and concerns regarding scheduling and staffing.
Provide new hires with ID cards, time cards, and initial schedules prior to orientation.
Maintain accurate records of staff certifications and licenses.
Provide Unit Secretary coverage as needed.
Prepare written reports and recommendations on staffing matters.
Address scheduling-related grievances and concerns.
Uphold strict HIPAA compliance at all times.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Staffing Coordinator in a nursing facility
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced environment
