Key Responsibilities
Oversee full-cycle recruitment and staffing for production, technical, and administrative roles.
Manage employee relations, including grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and conflict management.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
Administer compensation and benefits programs, including wage structures, incentive plans, and benefits enrollment.
Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and talent development.
Coordinate and deliver training initiatives focused on safety, compliance, and skills development for the workforce.
Lead workforce planning and succession initiatives to ensure adequate staffing and talent pipeline for operational needs.
Recommended Qualifications
Extensive experience as an HR Manager in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and HR compliance.
In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA regulations relevant to manufacturing.
Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues and foster a positive, productive work environment.
Strong strategic planning and communication skills, capable of aligning HR initiatives with operational goals.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
Multilingual proficiency, particularly Spanish
Experience leading HRIS implementation or major system optimization projects
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing safety culture initiatives
