Overview The HRIS Analyst provides technical and customer service support for our HRIS ( UKG | Workday ), IT systems ( ServiceNow ) and various reporting tools, including the development and distribution of HR metrics, business intelligence reports, and dashboards for Human Resources and the organization. This role will produce reports and ensure data integrity, test system changes, write reports, administer security, analyze data flows for process improvement opportunities, and configure systems on a regular basis.

Our organization is currently running on UKG but is likely to transition to Workday, hence we are looking for experience with both.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Sr. HRIS Analyst and Director, HRIS to create and distribute a variety of weekly, monthly, semi‑annual, and annual HR reports and dashboards.

Ensure that HRIS system administration duties are completed continuously (create and manage new locations, review, approve, and track salary increases and changes/transfers that require executive approval; maintain role permissions and assignments; review and approve company transfers; update and maintain UKG Onboarding as needed; and review pending requests and remind approvers to review).

Launch employee engagement, performance, exit interview, new hire, and other surveys in the HRIS system.

Create tickets, check tickets, create reports, reconcile records, and troubleshoot issues in ServiceNow.

Establish and maintain access and roles for all employees and contingent workers as needed.

Administer SmartSheet, E‑Verify and DocuSign templates for HR processes.

Handle all customer‑service inquiries (respond to questions, troubleshoot, password resets, etc.).

Reconcile employee accounts with IT systems.

Onboard and off‑board contingent workers and vendors and maintain system access and related information.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Proficiency in UKG (formerly Ultipro) and Workday is required.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for HR data management is required.

Complex report writing skills are required.

Strong project‑management skills, including prioritizing, balancing, and managing multiple efforts with strong results.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A customer‑focused individual who can work in a fast‑paced, fluid business environment with competing priorities.

Proven critical thinking and analytic skills.

Must be self‑motivated, highly organized, able to prioritize independently while demonstrating urgency.

Ability to produce accurate work under pressure and meet time‑sensitive deadlines.

Ability to exercise confidentiality, tact, and independent judgment in the performance of duties.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred with a minimum of five (3) years of hands‑on HRIS experience required.

Prior experience working with core, onboarding, performance, payroll, time management, employee voice, benefits prime, compensation, and other modules in Workday and UKG is required.

Demonstrated experience with complex report writing, building, editing and running complex reports in Cognos BI and Microsoft BI.

Experience creating dashboards in Tableau using SQL and other programs or applications.

System admin experience in ServiceNow; iCIMS is a plus.
